Farewell Smeared ink sketch The End + Forever night challenge

I am having a hard time with this post.
It will be my last Smeared Ink DT post :(
at least for a while.. (I hope)
I have some great friends on the DT.. and will miss the chats.. but we will stay in touch (I hope)
after this month..
I feel like I am closer to these girls, than my own family..

here is the sketch from Smeared Ink I loosely followed..

I used the church and crows from the holy city set.. added some mesh and embellies..

I will still be playing along with Smudgy Antics.. hopefully every week

I also found a great challenge Freaky Friday wicked treats the challenge was to use food. I used the Candy Is Dandy set from Smeared ink.. cupcakes.. ice cream .yummy!

I am not sure if you know this, but I completely love love love Alice in Wonderland. Everything about it!
any chance I get to make something related to it, I am there baby!

I used an actual page from my Alice in Wonderland book..
some more lil embellies and some inking..

A couple "happy's"

I appologize for being awol for a bit. I got an Intestinal Flu last week and it took me a few days to recover.. I am all better now (cross my fingers) and got to sit at my craft table for a minute! woohoo!!


I am making some "inspirational" items to have around me..

Here are a couple I've got done..

This is an altered photo frame. I painted it, added glitter and sealed with decoupage.

 This is an altered clipboard. I covered with Scraps of Darkness's January "Escape kit"

I plan on making a whole lot more!
We all need some Happy in our lives, right?

Meshin it with Smeared Ink!

I am on time today!!
whoohoo!!

Today is a blog hop with the Smeared Ink members and DT..

Our challenge was to "mesh it" with mesh, making a mesh out of images, etc..

I used the lil cutey from the Candy is Dandy set..
made a tag..
I decopauged some tissue paper on, added some black and red mesh.. some glitter and ribbon..

voila!
as soon as this was done drying, my teenager scooped it up and ran!

I took some pics this last summer.. of scenery, and the outdoors..
I finally got around to using some..

I used some random things I had in my stash..

the picture is much brighter in person.. almost looks fake :)

I have missed my crafty blog!

With the kidlet and myself being run-down.. I haven't even had one minute to sit at my lil craft table.
I was so sad about it.
but.
I realized..
I think I needed the break.
mentally and physically.
although I find it mostly peaceful.. the creation process for me, is sometimes hard and draining.
yanno?

so.
this week.
back to some normalcy in our lives.
kidlings are back to school.
I am back to work.. super early so I can pick Lacey up from school.
which means

more mommy at home time.

which means (hopefully)

more mommy time. for crafting, for cleaning, for exercising, for cooking, for mommy stuff..

woohoo!

at least for a few weeks until she goes back to the dr and we see what's next.

I will have a project for you soon, I PROMISE!!
