Mirror Mirror day 29

I am kinda proud of this one..
I painted a wooden coffin from my stash with glow in the dark orange paint, then grunged it up a bit with some "cashmere" paint stuff.. it is for stencilling, but I just blobbed it on..

let it dry for a few hours
colored my Simply Betty Image Devina Digi
placed a frame from my Oct Scraps of Darkness kit
added an embelly from a swap with a Sod member.. I loved this!! couldn't wait to use it

then on the inside.. I grabbed a hand and a lil skully and some stickers..
taa-daa..

a great addition to my window!

A treat box

I have had this little wooden box sitting on my shelf for months.. I finally had something to use it for!
I painted it a glossy black..
colored my Countess digi from Simply Betty stamps.. colored her with my pencils..
added some mesh from my scrapbook store finds..
I found some "treats" to fill it.. along with some ribbon..
sprinkled in some glitter.. cuz everything has to have glitter!
taa-daa! A Halloween Treat box..complete with a vamp to keep me company

I think I'll keep it on my desk at work :)

More project fun!

I think I may have my crafting mojo back.. along with being able to schedule: work, soccer, exercise, cooking, cleaning, making lunches, and crafting all in the weeks!!
yay!!

so.. here is a lil card I made using tiddly inks new digi Frankenhottie for Smeared ink..and the "teen style sayings" quotes from Smeared Ink.
My kids just love them! They even used them on their easter eggs..

I entered it in Smeared inks monthly challenge.. here

I tried to match the colors of the poster to my paper.. and of course the Bride of Frankenstein!!


My next project
I made a layout of my teenager's first day of eighth grade..
she was so amused with me by that time.. I thought this Simply Betty image fit perfectly!

I used a quote "never grow a wishbone, daughter, where your backbone ought to be."
this totally fits her.. she is so laid back.. I am afraid she will get taken advantage of by friends.. so we are trying to teach her how to stand up for herself..
I am entering this in simply betty challenges i-heart-zombies-invasion

I just have to share my cute eggs..

Simply betty challenge/smeared and smudged day 10

I just had to play along one more time..
Simplybettychallenges /on-4th-day-of-halloween was a challenge to incorporate Raven's and a quote "His voice was soft and very slow As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe: “and my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor shall be lifted? Nevermore…”
I used my white pen and wrote it out, since my printer is being a pain..
then I stamped some ravens ( I think they are anyways) and colored James to add to the mix. I think he sort of fits the quote, he has a contemplative look on his face :)
I added some buttons and a glittery raven to finish it off.

 I am also counting this as my day 10 of the 31 days of Halloween at Smeard and Smudged.. check out the deets on my sidebar for all the goodies and blogroll of awesomeness!

I am posting this lil project for a couple things..
first the 31 Days of Halloween with Smeared and smudged...check out the deets on my sidebar for all the hop info!!
Day 8!! It was kind of hard to get a good picture..but I hope you like it!

 I painted this wreath I picked up somewhere..and let it dry (for a really long time) and then wrapped some spiderwebby ribbon around it. Then I added my images from simplybettystamps I used Mina, James and Sally..



 

Then I added Henry from Stampinsanity to the mix.. I thought it needed more, of course.. so I added some skulls and ribbon.

Then I am also adding it into Simply Betty Challenges 3rd-day-of-halloween Sally challenge! Betty is awesome!! I colored Sally to kind of match my wreath..but still be "rag dollish" and I think she is adorable!!

Glittery Emo Betty

I just made this little cutey for Simply Betty's challenge.
Her requirement was to make an Emo card.
So I did!

I colored Betty with pencils and stickled her up. I added flowers and more stickles and some lace.
The inside is the perfect saying.. "whatever"  I hear that alot nowadays
Teenagers..gotta love em?

Forever Friends

I am entering this little card in simplybettystamps are-you-up-for-challenge I adore Rio! She is darling.. I colored her, glittered her and added some glittery spider webs and ribbon.

I know my pics still aren't the greatest.. I have to use my phone until I get off my arse to get batts for my camera :)
