A little Steampunk birdy with Smeared Ink

I was rushing again to get this lil card done last night.
me n the hubs had a Karate class..
it was a blast!

but I had some paper that was Steampunkish..
I colored my Bluebird rider digi from the Smeared Ink collection

added some feathers and a swirly.. oh and some bling. of course..

that's about as imaginative as I get lol.

some new pages

I've been working on getting my scrappin done, now that 31 days is over.. I can catch up a little..
I will NEVER be caught up, since I have drawers and boxes full of photos.. and constantly taking new pics..
but it will be nice to get a few more books filled up with our family memories.

I am going to start a new book of "me"
all about me.
it's going to be hard I think. to open up to even myself.. but I think it will help.
my hubs is always wanting me to talk to him.. to open up.
this may just be what I need to get going.

I will have pics soon of those new pages..

but for now..

I'm working on lots of stuff. :)

Alter something

I chose to alter a little wreath I picked up at the thrift store a while back..

I added some velvety paper and my Mona Lisa Zombie image from Smeared ink

added a velvety ribbon..
simple.
done.

Quality time with Gramma

I made this scrapbook page for Scraps of Darkness Round Robin challenge.
I admit, I was late.
but I suppose I had a good excuse..
Halloween..
my youngest's b-day
I'm sick
I'm lazy

ok..
not lazy so much..
but yanno?

I sprayed a paper with some green ink and tore it..
added some pics of my girls decorating grammas yard when they were little
lots of Scraps of Darkness embellies from my OCT kit and papers..

I made it simple because.. well.. I was short on time.
as usual

really?
does someone want to work for me?
or exercise for me?
or clean my house?
or raise my kids?
or sleep for me?
or luff my hubby?

ok.. no to the hubby.. that's all me baby!

but the rest..
any volunteers?

I am totally loving this kit!
I truly love the quality and coordination of the scraps of darkness kits.

hopefully I can get my workout in tonight.
I tried last night.. but couldn't breathe much.. so cut it short..
and today is worse..
so maybe it's a hot tea and scrappin night!
