How do you trick out a treat? and 31 Days of Halloween

today's project is a double duty goodie

I actually made this to hang on my wall at work.. so no actual treats..
but it is above my treat pumpkin for the trick or treaters we get here at work..does that count?

I covered a little wooden "sign" with paper and colored my Lillith vamp from Stampinsanity I inked her hair with glaze and "flocked" her dress with some random flocking I picked up at the craft store..

I added some birds and embellies from my Scraps of darkness October kit. And a "gate" I cut from my cricut.

it is also day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween!
can you believe only 11 left?
that makes me sad
I can't wait for Halloween.. but I'll miss all these amazing talents from the wicked bloggers every day!

Anything but a card for Stampinsanity and Day 8 of 31 Days of Halloween with Smeared ink!

I finished off a can of almonds this week.. mmmmm
and just couldn't throw away the empty tin..

so I recycled!

I am late for Stampinsanity's Anything but a card challenge.. but had to post a project anyways..
I colored Lilith and Kassandra from Stampinsanity with my pencils, cut them out and popped them on.
I gathered some gauzy fabric purchased from the dollar store to make it look creepy..

I used paper from my Scraps of Darkness Passages kit
I also cut a piece of the cork disc into a moon shape.. sponged it with paint and added a little "hangy thing" with a brad
I added some flowers and a little key, also, from my scraps of darkness kit.

Back to school!

I know, right?

this week's challenge is to make something for Back to school..
so I made this for my oldest daughter..

I picked up this little frame at the dollar store.. seriously!
painted it..
added some goodies..
colored a couple images from Stampinsanity..Izzy and Jack from the What the Heart Wants collection (you can find them stampinsanity
they are sooo Twilight...and she loves them!

Stampinsanity Monochromatic

Another post today!!

I had to make a layout for a change.. I've got drawers and stacks and books full of pics begging to be scrapped!

I printed this pic in the vintage coloring... so thought it would be perfect for Stampinsanity's challenge..

I used lots of random things I had in my stash.. colored my lil rocker from Stampinsanity and I think it turned out pretty awesome..

Stampinsanity Metal sisc56 sexy b-day card..

I love that I can finally wrap my head around using one card for more than one challenge.. lol.. I am so ocd that I had to make a separate card for each one I wanted to enter.. so this is a growing experience for me.. and I love it so far!

so..
first up..

I colored this sexy vamp from Stampinsanity with my watercolor pencils..I used metal foil to cover the little heart, a metal ribbon slider, and a piece of metal embellishment at the top..

Feeling Groovy with Stampinsanity

Today I am feeling Grooooovy!

I got my retro stash of rollerskates and rock n roll paper out and played with the rest of Ward One of the Groovy Gurls of Stampinsanity! :)

I colored up this adorable image of Lita and added some rockstar ribbon and a felt flower.. pretty simple but I think it turned out pretty cute!

Awesome news! and my 100th post

I seriously can't believe my luck this week..
First.. Stampinsanity is going to stay open!! We had a small scare that they were going to leave... but an awesome DT member stepped up and will help Beth out.. So yay!!! I get to play in my padded room for a bit longer..

You really need to go check out the images and senti's at The Asylum . They truly are fabulous!


Second.. I made the Smeared Ink design team! I am soooooo excited to be a part of this group too.. I love each and every member and all the wonderful designs.. It really is a great place to be!! I seriously almost cried when I got the email from Terra.. I am so honored and can't wait to get my ink on!


This is my 100th post! woot!

I don't know what I should do.. throw a party? run around nekkey? er.. k.. no one wants to see that..

Punch it out with Stampinsanity!

I actually got a card done on time!! woohoo!!
I am addicted to these little easel cards. They are sooo stinkin easy to make.

I colored my Stampinsanity image of Lita with pencils. I think I need to invest in some markers soon..

I used my Rockstar paper's and some cute ribbon I picked up at Halloween.

then I punched out some corners and stuff.. added some bling and taa-daa!

So I did :)

I am finally getting around relocating to my crafty mojo-ness..

Today's challenge is to "Let it all hang out" with Stampinsanity SISC42

I made sure to overlap my images and of course I can never keep my goodies on my pages, cards or layouts. So this one was easy!
I colored Katie since, right now, cancer seems to be prevailant everywhere I turn.
I love using this adorable and inspiring image and hope I can send some of these cards to loved ones and acquaintances.

I know my pics aren't the best, but my camera was missing (probably in the kids' room)

Today's challenge is for Stampinsanity..

I have soooo many of those laying around, since I am a hoarder lol

I used some leftover Gingerbread paper and some various paper scraps from my huge file of goodies..

Then added a sentiment from Stampinsanity and some little ribbon pieces..
voila... a scrap card :)

I am using my project for two today!
First is day 28 of The Awesome Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween!!
We are almost done!!! I can't believe I made it this far :)

Then the second is
Spookilicious Halloween from Stampinsanity!
the challenge for ward one (on my sidebar) was to create a spooky awesome Halloween treat!
I used a leftover treat bag from my youngest (those were fun filling for her class party today!) lol
then added some puffy glittery stickers for the "treat"
I colored Lilith and added her to the top :)

Day 27!!

Sorry again.. I didn't get my project up for day 26.. but I have one for today!!!!

We carved pumpkins and Sons of Anarchy was on...so I was distracted :)

I'll try to get finished products up later..I needed candles :)

So... here's my project..

I painted the frame with several coats of silver paint..

colored Kassandra from Stampinsanity then added some stickles to make her pop! I love stickles!!

Then I just got these cute skulls in the mail, so I added one..

I distressed the background of the image and also the saying..

I hope you like it :) It's going on my wall beside my Lilith framed image :)

Don't forget to check out the amazingly talented ladies on the hop.. It is coming to an end waaaaay to fast.. I'm gonna miss this :(

Day 14 of 31 Days of Halloween/ SISC31 Live free and die cut!

Good morning blogger friends!!
After having an adventurous night with no power, I managed to get this little cutey done!!

I have squeeked by on the Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween so far, only missing one day I think! Yay!!

It is the first week of the two ward system at Stampinsanity! We are all having a blast!

Our challenge this week, if you haven’t divined it from our title… is to Live Free and Die Cut!  Come up with creative ways to use your die cutter or die cuts and share with us!

Here's my lil card. I used Lilith, colored her with my pencils, and added some stickles! I cut "Beware" a skeleton key, a creepy bottle, a frekin spider (I am sooo scared of spiders, this one even gives me butterflies) and creepy eyes with my Cricut and popped them on.. also added some dewdrops for extra bling.. I love bling!

So, that's what I've got for today.

One for Just Because

I was so thrilled to get to play with these Images from Stampinsanity Katie is such a great image to use to inspire, to give hope, just to make you smile.
I lost my mom to cancer a couple years ago, so this was especially touching to be given the honor to use Katie.
I was itching to make a card so I did :)

I colored Katie with my good ol pencils and added some stickles. I used some pink polka dotted ribbon to make two little ribbons. Then added some primas, more stickles and some pearly bling. Oh and of course some lace. :)
