Bloody Valentine Smeared Ink blog hop day two

Today's offering is an altered domino book! I finally got a set of dominos and couldn't wait to play with them.

I inked a lil grumpie on one and added a lil quote on the other end..

inbetween are "fabulous" and another lil grumpie from Smeared Ink..

I also just got a heat tool, so I can finally play with my embossing powder I've had forever!

I am still new so it looks kinda sloppy still..I need more practice!

Bloody Valentine blog hop with Smeared Ink

Today starts three days of Valentine madness!
Smeared Ink is having a blog hop for Valentine's day
but keep in mind.. It is Smeared Ink style!
which means bloody n stuff lol
I didn't go too bloody.. actually no blood was shed in my projects..
I made a wall hanging set.. this is the first one

 I colored a Pinup zombie image from Smeared Ink
I used crackle paint on the heart
printed off a quote
added some pearl spray to the doily
some bling  and flowers
and a ribbon to hang

Meshin it with Smeared Ink!

I am on time today!!
whoohoo!!

Today is a blog hop with the Smeared Ink members and DT..

Our challenge was to "mesh it" with mesh, making a mesh out of images, etc..

I used the lil cutey from the Candy is Dandy set..
made a tag..
I decopauged some tissue paper on, added some black and red mesh.. some glitter and ribbon..

voila!
as soon as this was done drying, my teenager scooped it up and ran!

Wicked Christmas with Smeared Ink

so. I messed up.
I was rushing to get my project done, and didn't check the smudgy antics site for the updated challenge..

I had "gothic christmas" as my project..
but it was changed..
eh well..
I managed to get a project done.. even if it doesn't fit.
It's been a rough few weeks for my family.
my youngest may have surgery this week or next..
we'll know more tomorrow.
so.. for me to be able to get a project done.. almost on time.. is a miracle!
and I have to be happy with that..
I will feel bad for a while for not following the exact challenge.. but I have to move on..

anyways..

I used some gothic christmas images from smeared ink
and added them to a frame.
of course added some glitter n bling..:)

Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas Smeared Ink style

You'll have to forvive my project today. Half of it was made in the dark with a flashlight!
we had a huuuuge wind storm where I live.. and our power was out for half the day and most of the night..
it was cold and wiiiindy.. but fun with all the kids n candles hanging out in the living room..

I got to play with two of the Smeared Ink's new releases!
these are my kinda Christmas decorations!!
I wish I could have real ones for sure!

A little Steampunk birdy with Smeared Ink

I was rushing again to get this lil card done last night.
me n the hubs had a Karate class..
it was a blast!

but I had some paper that was Steampunkish..
I colored my Bluebird rider digi from the Smeared Ink collection

added some feathers and a swirly.. oh and some bling. of course..

that's about as imaginative as I get lol.

Happy Halloween!

Today is my favorite day evah!

I am wearing my Mother Nature costume at work!! The first time in 15 years we've been able to dress up at work! I will probably be the only one.. but I don't care!

I didn't have time to make an official project today. I was making ghost, pumpkin and bat tortilla chips to go with my homemade salsa. and ghost shortbread cookies. and halloween punch. and getting the house ready. and carving pumpkins. It was a busy busy weekend!

I did do some stamping on my punkin though. added a couple pins and skulls to make him awesome.

it's not the best pic.. but it will do.

I used the inky dreams set and stamped all over with the splotches.. then added a couple witch hats.

Mirror Mirror day 29

I am kinda proud of this one..
I painted a wooden coffin from my stash with glow in the dark orange paint, then grunged it up a bit with some "cashmere" paint stuff.. it is for stencilling, but I just blobbed it on..

let it dry for a few hours
colored my Simply Betty Image Devina Digi
placed a frame from my Oct Scraps of Darkness kit
added an embelly from a swap with a Sod member.. I loved this!! couldn't wait to use it

then on the inside.. I grabbed a hand and a lil skully and some stickers..
taa-daa..

a great addition to my window!

three days left till spookytime!
I am so excited this year.. me n the hubs get to stay home and hand out candy to the trick or treators!
we've always taken our girls out and this year they are big enough to go alone! ok. not alone. there is a group of around 30 kids. but still.. I don't have to walk the neighborhood!

I got my spooky music, my skull lights and my musical witch ready to go!

here's the second part of my chippy set..
maybe I'll add them to a scrapbook page or something..

27 Days of Halloween

can you believe it's almost here??!!
I luvvv me some Halloween!

I made a little set of, well, I have no idea what they are
I randomly grabbed a chipboard square, covered it with black paper
stamped some "witchy" stamps

this is the first one of the set
it has some halloweeny ribbon and a wax skull I made out of leftover scentsy wax and my ice cube tray. I love to recycle!

added a plastic embelly and stickles..

today's project is another simple one.
I made a quickie atc with my Masqerade image
I gave her a friend and some stickles.. blam! done!

ok. so I don't have ACTUAL leather or lace.. but I improvised :)
I gave my smexy Zombie Pinup "Tease" image from Smeared ink leather heels :)
and added some "lace" trim with my punch.
I hope it counts lol.

A few invitations for a Halloweeny b-day party

I had these totally cute ideas in my head to make some little invitations for my daughter's b-day..she was born the day after Halloween. I was given the choice of the day before, but my oldest daughter would have been pissed if I couldn't take her trick or treating.. since I had a c-section I would have still been in the hospital lol
but when I sat down, watching Sons Of Anarchy of course
I wasn't feeling too well..
so I had to rush it.
I stamped a couple stamps
added a bling and a tag inside with the deets..
they were simple
which I'm glad because as soon as I got done I got sick. sorry tmi
I'm still feeling not so good and weak..
but life goes on :)

I have a little wooden picture frame I covered with paper from my Scraps of darkness Oct kit
I colored Frankie from Smeared Ink and stickled him a bit
added some tree background and a wood piece I inked black, also from Scraps of Darkness All Hallows eve kit.
I adore this kit!

I added some letters and adorable orange leafy ribbon from the kit as well..

How do you trick out a treat? and 31 Days of Halloween

today's project is a double duty goodie

I actually made this to hang on my wall at work.. so no actual treats..
but it is above my treat pumpkin for the trick or treaters we get here at work..does that count?

I covered a little wooden "sign" with paper and colored my Lillith vamp from Stampinsanity I inked her hair with glaze and "flocked" her dress with some random flocking I picked up at the craft store..

I added some birds and embellies from my Scraps of darkness October kit. And a "gate" I cut from my cricut.

it is also day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween!
can you believe only 11 left?
that makes me sad

I modgepodged some tissue paper on a wooden picture frame I picked up from Micheals...
I colored my amazing Goth Fairy from Smeared Ink
and popped her on some awesome pink zebra paper!

A quickie bat for day 14

It's Friday!!
I woke up nervous about how I am going to get my posts up this weekend. Scary huh?
31 Days is the very first thing that pops into my head!

I will try my hardest..
I have to visit my Weight Watchers group (do the weigh in thing)
take my daughter for Dance pictures
Make Zombie costumes for an Undead run we are doing
Do the undead run
make some Halloweeny projects, get them posted..etc..
not to mention laundry, cooking and cleaning..
Hopefully Sunday will let me catch up on stuff

stickled them
then I used "scream" from Smeared Ink rubber set (I can't remember which set if someone knows?)
