A TWI-HARD BLOG HOP!

Greetings fellow Twi-hards! Tonight is the night! It is the release for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2! I cannot believe that the last movie is finally being released. Will you be at a premier?
I went to a sneak peak screening last night! We looooved it! The best one yet.. and of course, it is the last. :(



My friend and fellow Twi-Hard Alison decided that since this was the last movie, we needed to do one last Twilight hop. One more hurrah before it was all over. So, she asked some of her fellow Twi-friends to hop along with her. Happily, there were 6 gals that wanted to joined. So there are 7 awesome stops in this Blog Hop. And we all made some fabulous, Twilight inspired projects! Here's what I came up with.

Pieces and parts with smeared ink

I am late to the party.. but had to make my project!

I used two smeared ink stamps.. for the member hop

I am working on my book of shadows and this page is starting my "divination" exploration. This is the run "Laguz" meaning flow.


I stamped my nymph with two colors, colored her a bit and stickled her some..
added a heart from candy is dandy. colored it a bit and added some glitter, of course.. You can find these both at smeared ink store

I grabbed some scraps of paper.. it's hard to see in the pic.. but it has designs on it lol..
colored her up with my watercolor pencils. and added some flowers and some sequins.. simple. pretty.

Smeared Ink blog hop

I had a few minutes to go play outside and gather some items for today's blog hop with Smeared Ink!
I took my teenager to "hot hula" last night. It was the second class, and our first.. What a blast!
We learned to shake our booties like the polynesians.. soooo pretty!
anyways..

Want to know what our theme is? Since the weather is getting so nice and we'll be spending so much more time outdoors, how about a natural element in your project!  There has to be some sort of natural element that you found outside included in your project. It can be a stick, a rock, a pressed flower, a leaf, a bone, etc. The only criteria is that you cannot use a replica (so no prima flowers in lieu of a real one, know what I'm saying?)

I stamped my paper with a "nymph" stamp from Smeared Ink.
me and my youngest went for a "nature walk" in our yard.. and found some little rocks and leaves..
I grabbed em and glued em down :)
added some glitter
popped it into a little picture frame
and done!

I'm baaack.. sorta.. with the Bombshells!

I had a couple minutes last night to make a lil sumpin with a Bombshell stamp.. I totally adore this set.. but I didn't have much time.. and my overmedicated arse wasn't too crafty.. so this is what I came up with..

I stamped my lil rose image from Bombshell's.. and colored it with my pencils.. then I chalked the edges of the paper.. added it to a beautiful page that was added to my lil chipboard piece..
I couldn't really think of what to add.. so I grabbed these shiny metallic leaves and tied them up with a bow.. black of course.. gothy? Idk.. but I tried :)

I hope I can get back into the swing of things soon.. my brain fog is totally getting to me..
If you didn't know.. my dad passed away last weekend and I have been really down and super busy.. I was the one taking care of him.. so.. it was really tough.
We got through the week and still trying to get all the arrangements of his bills and such taken care of.. my family is tough.. so we'll get through this :)

Thanks to everyone for understanding my absence.. and I hope to be back among the family that is my online friends soon!

Blop hop with Smeared Ink!

I am so excited to be a part of this hop..
We were all challenged to use a different technique..

So.. mine is using my chalk and some stencils..

I just grabbed some plain white paper and chalked it up..

I kept this card pretty simple.. just because I wanted the chalk to show..

I used the Femdom images from Smeared Ink..
they are seeeexy!!

I added some stickles and bling..

and that's about it. :)

Here's my project..

I just used some of my "rock star" paper and added some "stitched" ribbon to kinda match the senti..
I colored my lil stitchy one with my watercolor pencils and popped on some bling..

Smeared Ink blog hop!!

Yay!! I love blog hops.. they are so fun and it is awesome to see everyone's creativity.. and how different we all are!!

Our challenge was to use metal in our project.
So..
I have a lil box of bottle caps just sitting on my table. Waiting for me to play..

I grabbed a few.. they were already flattened, I love that!..
I stamped and colored a couple grumpies, the adorable lil bow with skull face and a couple senti's from the grumpies set.. and glued them to the caps.
Then I have been addicted to my crackle paint, so I crackled them.
My daughter says it makes them look fuzzy.. I suppose it does.. cuuute?? It does make the sentis a lil hard to read.. they say, suck it up and hold me :)

then I made it into a necklace with some lil beads, clear beads and ribbon..
My daughter loves it!

Now.. run to the rest of the crazy talented ladies on the hop..

I finally got the inside of my card saved and emailed to myself :)

I used the Femdom Image and sentiment, Aphrodite, and of course a little skull...

I also had a minute after sewing an apron and bonnet for kid #2 and jogging...to make another card.. I know.. I'm on a roll!!!

Blog hop with Smeared And Smudged!

I am sooo excited to be a part of the Smeared Ink's dt blog hop today!! I am a guest DT member for March so I got to play!! woohoo!!
I am a little late to the hop this morning, and I didn't get my new release images since I didn't have access to my computer this weekend.. but I managed to get a quick card using three images from Smeared Ink. (my camera somehow forgot to save the inside picture.. I will get it on first thing tomorrow morning)
I used the Elemental's set for the Goddess..Then I used the Aphrodite image, and my favorite set so far.. the Femdom image and senti...

Happy Valentines day with Smeared & Smudged

So I was stoked to join in on this blog hop with Smeared & Smudged! I love this group!!

The challenge was to create something Valentiney without using pink or red, hearts or anything "cute"

So.. Immediately thought of hubby lol..

I made this card for him and he loved it! :)

It's kind of hard to see, but it is green, blue and black. I used a bombshell set for the main stamp and "no regrets" on the inside.
We've been married almost 15 years and I wanted him to know that I wouldn't change a single thing! :)

31 Days of Halloween day 8/Simply Betty/Stampinsanity fun stuff too!

Yep that was a long title :)
I am posting this lil project for a couple things..
first the 31 Days of Halloween with Smeared and smudged...check out the deets on my sidebar for all the hop info!!
Day 8!! It was kind of hard to get a good picture..but I hope you like it!

 I painted this wreath I picked up somewhere..and let it dry (for a really long time) and then wrapped some spiderwebby ribbon around it. Then I added my images from simplybettystamps I used Mina, James and Sally..



 

Then I added Henry from Stampinsanity to the mix.. I thought it needed more, of course.. so I added some skulls and ribbon.

Then I am also adding it into Simply Betty Challenges 3rd-day-of-halloween Sally challenge! Betty is awesome!! I colored Sally to kind of match my wreath..but still be "rag dollish" and I think she is adorable!!

Yo, Witch! 31 Days of Halloween day five!

Thanks so much for visiting again! Day five was kind of hectic, it was my dadio's birthday yesterday, so time was a bit tight for making Halloween goods..
I did manage to color and cut a new image I just got from Stampinsanity!!! I love this one!!
I added her to a chipboard tag I covered with purple starry paper,  and finished it off with some Batty ribbon and a glittery foam bat..
Simple, but cute I think :)

31 Days of Halloween Day four!

I painted and covered this wooden box I picked up at a thrift store. I ripped papers and "collaged" them but still didn't know what to do with it.. I added some painted pearls and it still seemed blah.

then I had an idea.. Make a little "show box" or what ever it's called lol...
I colored The Count and Countess from Simply Betty stamps, and popped them inside along with a moon, a couple tombstones and a creepy pumpkin..voila! A complete box.. :)
