for fun

I made these little chipboard taggy things last night.. just for fun.. I know. right?
I painted them with black acrylic paint and colored my most awesome of all awesomeness images from Smeared Ink.. the Von Bayros set.. absolutely amazing they are..
added some ribbon.. and kept them pretty simple..

the pics are kinda dark.. but you can see a lil of the fun :)

Smeared Ink blog hop

I had a few minutes to go play outside and gather some items for today's blog hop with Smeared Ink!
I took my teenager to "hot hula" last night. It was the second class, and our first.. What a blast!
We learned to shake our booties like the polynesians.. soooo pretty!
anyways..

Want to know what our theme is? Since the weather is getting so nice and we'll be spending so much more time outdoors, how about a natural element in your project!  There has to be some sort of natural element that you found outside included in your project. It can be a stick, a rock, a pressed flower, a leaf, a bone, etc. The only criteria is that you cannot use a replica (so no prima flowers in lieu of a real one, know what I'm saying?)

I stamped my paper with a "nymph" stamp from Smeared Ink.
me and my youngest went for a "nature walk" in our yard.. and found some little rocks and leaves..
I grabbed em and glued em down :)
added some glitter
popped it into a little picture frame
and done!

My new Art

I happened to get this on Skull Appreciation day!
it was just a 'for fun" tatt.. and a huuuge coincidence.. but a great one.. right?

I painted this little wooden shelf thingy..with silver paint

stamped it using Smeared Ink's Inky Dreams set..

then.. added a page behind.. kinda like a picture frame.. using the Teen Style background.. I totally adore this set. It is so perfect for the kids.. and yeah, me too!

Then added a big skull, some lil friends and ribbon.

I had to rush this project, but it was for a good cause. Me time. Gym time. :) I'm slowly getting back into my routine.
Crafting is a big part of it.
The best therapy there is.

Smeared Ink Wednesday.. with.. me!

I finally got a bit of time to create something!



I did this just for fun. I hope to fill this journal up someday.. but for now.. It is just going to sit pretty on my table :)



I covered a little blank journal with some bright paper.

stamped my goddesses and nymphs, colored them with watercolor pencils and added some embellies. I used some rubons from my stash, some bling and lots of flowers.



I wanted this to be peaceful and earthy.. I think I came close to that effect..
