Enjoying my break

I am done with finals, with a two week break until the next and final semester!!
Doing everything but thinking.
I've been playing in my garden, cleaning a bit, tracing my roots and lots more. Not really. That's about it.

I get to start a new scrapbook for my daughter and baby on the way! I'm going to be a gramma!!! I told her I'm going to make a pregnancy book and then a baby book. And of course I will make my own copy :)
So, one day soon.. perhaps tomorrow, I can get that started. So excited!!! I haven't played in my craft room since school started I think.
I miss my hoards of paper and goodies down there. Aaaahh.. craft supplies..

lil update

I know. I haven't had a minute to make anything.. let alone breathe.. lol

but I want to share some fun stuff..

I am going to make scrapbooks for the drill team the teenager is on.. that will keep me busy lol

A little book I made for Etsy

I think this is my first Etsy post!
I made this little paperbag album out of a paper kit I had hidden in my craft room. I discovered it when I unpacked! yay!

I have no clue why it turned sideways.. I've edited it three times! seriously.  I give up!

ha

but you get the idea..

I hope to get a couple more done soon. along with some little goodies and kits.. who knows.. I have a ton of stuff to go through and purge.. so check out my shop.. you never know what I'll find :)

A couple "happy's"

I appologize for being awol for a bit. I got an Intestinal Flu last week and it took me a few days to recover.. I am all better now (cross my fingers) and got to sit at my craft table for a minute! woohoo!!

This is an altered photo frame. I painted it, added glitter and sealed with decoupage.

I have been working on layouts for me...
mostly to get my mom's book done.. but also to finish some other.. random pages..

This first one is one for my mama..
I actually journaled a bit..

I think the color combo turned out kinda pretty...

I usually have no clue what I'm going to put on my pages.. I just grab from my stacks..
as you can tell lol..

This next one is a photo of my wedding day..
my best friend from high school and her hubby showed up.. It was kind of a surprise..to me anyways :)
and just recently hubby surprised me on my b-day (fifteen years later) with them showing up at the restaurant! how sweet!!..
anyways.. I had this lil pink doily and added from there..
I chalked and stickled to make it pretty..

I journaled again! I am getting better at this.. :)

One for Just Because

I was so thrilled to get to play with these Images from Stampinsanity Katie is such a great image to use to inspire, to give hope, just to make you smile.
I lost my mom to cancer a couple years ago, so this was especially touching to be given the honor to use Katie.
I was itching to make a card so I did :)

I colored Katie with my good ol pencils and added some stickles. I used some pink polka dotted ribbon to make two little ribbons. Then added some primas, more stickles and some pearly bling. Oh and of course some lace. :)
