A TWI-HARD BLOG HOP!

Greetings fellow Twi-hards! Tonight is the night! It is the release for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2! I cannot believe that the last movie is finally being released. Will you be at a premier?
I went to a sneak peak screening last night! We looooved it! The best one yet.. and of course, it is the last. :(



My friend and fellow Twi-Hard Alison decided that since this was the last movie, we needed to do one last Twilight hop. One more hurrah before it was all over. So, she asked some of her fellow Twi-friends to hop along with her. Happily, there were 6 gals that wanted to joined. So there are 7 awesome stops in this Blog Hop. And we all made some fabulous, Twilight inspired projects! Here's what I came up with.

Poisoned Peas Please Challenge #9 Walking Dead

I picked up a pack of canvases that I have wanted forever!!
I finally got to use one for a little collage

I used a fabulous vamp image from our sponsor rick st dennis added some creeptastic bling and dried rose leaves  aaannnddd   voila!
I think I'll give this one to my teenager. :)

no project today.. the kids have kept me super busy.. I didn't even eat dinner last night lol

big football game tonight.. basketball games...kids kids kids blah!

so here's a pic of me n hubby at the Hotel Transylvania movie.. it was our anniversary date and he took me to see a cartoon. he does love me!

I will get a project up tomorrow.. that is if we survive the football game tonight!

I have another photo frame for you!

this one I also found at the thrift store.. I love that place! you never know what you will find!! and I'm a major cheapskate!

I colored my image from the amazing Ike.. who doesn't love a witch?
(don't look too close.. you'll see where I screwed up her dress)

I added some skulls and a lil crow just for fun and all done!
this went on my shelf as soon as it was dry :)

10 Days of Halloween!!

today is the 10th day of 31 Days of Halloween with Smeared and Smudged!!

I had a few minutes after Yoga last night.. so I got something done!

but I found this amazing ribbon at the craft store and had to use it as a border..
grabbed a couple stamps from Bombshell and embossed. I didn't want to use much color.. leaving it the black n white vintage feel..

I'm not done.. but My house looks amazing!!
I have a pink spider. yup.

this just seemed to fit right in with my skulls and more I have hanging on my wall..
I used an image from Dilly Beans, our ppp sponsor this week! colored it with my copics and placed it on a coffin.

DAY 6 of 31 Days of Halloween!

today's offering is a quick lil project I made..

I started this little ghosty book last year, and never finished it.
let alone worked on it lol

so I have a page done!
I used my lil grumpy stamp from S&S and embossed him
added some eyes to make it a lil creepy..
again, another simple project from me :)

the hubs is working this weekend, so I will have meeee time to craft!!! yay!!!!!

I picked up the "house" at a thrift store and painted it
added some spooky embellies.. some stamped dominoes, filled bottles and of course, skulls!

a little cabinet.
I painted it and added some embellies..
the stamping is kind of hard to see in the pics, but it is a ghost and some witch hats. I stamped and embossed them to make them pop (in person)

I finally had a few minutes to make a project for Smeared and Smudged challenge!! yay!

I used the amazing Dark Fairy tales images goldilocks that Ike designed.
I covered a wooden photo frame with tissue paper and decoupaged it down. added some netting and flowers and the "flower" at the bottom is made with feathers! that was part of the challenge for the Junk Funk this month. Use feathers :)

Dark Fairy Tales with Poisoned Peas Please

Hello everyone and welcome to our 6th Challenge at Poisoned Peas Please (PPP). Our theme this time around is “Dark” Fairy Tales.
 Our 6th challenge begins today and ends Sept. 8. We want to see any kind of art you want to create, be it cards, altered art, ATCs, journal pages, fat books, anything that your heart desires, but we want an actual fairy tale with a “dark” nature.
 Most of the original fairy tales are very dark, at least until Disney got a hold of them. ;o) That’s what we want to see, the “dark” in that fairy tale.

My project is just the begining of a book I am making for myself.
I am altering a little book I grabbed from the dollar store..

I used Rapunzel from Ike's digis! Isn't she beautiful?
I decoupaged her down, just so she will stay tight. I used some of my Graphic 45 paper stash, which I will use for the whole book.. some beautiful flowers and a little wooden bird to finish off the cover of my book.
I can't wait to work on more. I am excited to see how it will turn out.

something cute and random

I picked up a couple little mini composition books in the school supply area..
I figured they would be fun to alter..
and they were.
so fast!
I used tissue paper and then decoupaged it down.. added a ribbon for a bookmark..
taa-daa!

I have so many things sitting on my shelf waiting for me to play with them. I just need more time!

I hope to do a little at a time and share :)

Challenge #5 Poisoned Peas Please- Unusual Alice

now. you all know or should know by now..

Alice In Wonderland is my favorite of all favorites of everything!

I absolutely adore everything AIW!!

so this was a fun one

we got to use images from our very own  Tracy Malnofski @
Stamping Boutique

I used Alice of course and put her in a double sided photo frame.

I painted and crackled the frame

colored her and blinged her

added some "AIW" embellies and ribbon

my rose atc

I made this lil atc for Smeared and Smudged atc swap..

I stamped my bombshell rose and embossed it with copper color.
I added some flowers and bling.
simple. easy. done :)

I finally got a chance to get a project done. I had four custom scrapbooks to make, so I've been super busy and haven't gotten to "play"

but here it is!

Of course I had to use pink. It's an obsession.

Bunnicula hop!

finally!! a project to post!!

I made this lil gem for the bunnicula hop with Smeared and Smudged.
I have loved Bunnicula since I was little!!
More than once, I've looked at my lil bunny in suspicion... *wink*

I painted a little wooden picture frame with blue paint.. then swiped my brush through to give it "texture"
then misted it with pearly mist.. turned out pretty good I think..
added some blings and ribbon..
I colored my bunny from Smeared Ink with my pencils and gave her some red eyes..

all done :)
