Today is a special day here at the ol' A thousand sheets of paper blog. No, it's not quite the one year anniversary, as that was on July 16th. Instead I thought it would be fun to combine that celebration with another crazy milestone that I've been keeping track of and finally hit this past week... you see, since I started making cards and posting them here I've been keeping track of the number of different sheets of pattern paper that I cut into for my cards just to see how long it would take to get to 1000. I'm excited to say that it only took a couple weeks over my year anniversary to get there! I told you this was crazy! LOL!




Crazy or not though, I'm in the mood to celebrate (and clear out some paper) so I've got A THOUSAND 6x6 sheets of paper that I'm giving away! Wanna see what 1000 sheets of paper looks like? Take a look-see...

That's a lot of paper, huh? Perhaps just a bit crazy to send all to one person, so I'm breaking it apart into five candies of 200 sheets each. And the fun doesn't stop there! Smeared and Smudged challenge

Here's a card I made for Smeared and Smudged "oh the horror" challenge.
It was to use this image or inspiration from the movie to make a project..
I used the "fairy tale" part for mine..

I have a huge bag of dried flowers from a craft store, I picked them up for like three bucks at a thrift store. I decided I would use some :) I added some lace and ribbon and pebbles for bling. It's hard to tell, but the letters are glittery also. I like how this one turned out.

I made this little page for the gutter girls challenge. here It was about life and the dream based on the song by Tim Mcgraw Where the Green grass grows..
I figured these pics of Lacey on the slip n slide would be perfect!

Glittery Emo Betty

I just made this little cutey for Simply Betty's challenge.
Her requirement was to make an Emo card.
So I did!

I colored Betty with pencils and stickled her up. I added flowers and more stickles and some lace.
The inside is the perfect saying.. "whatever"  I hear that alot nowadays
Teenagers..gotta love em?

Smeared Ink rainbow challenge

HI!!
I've been busy, but haven't posted much.. I keep forgetting to add pics here :)

Here is a glass vase that I altered, it is about 10 inches tall and about 5 around..
I stamped all the colors of the rainbow in my lil grumpies (from Smeared and Smudged)
and stuck em on, along with some primas and bling.
After I took the pics, I noticed my glue spots were all over..I will find sumpin to cover those up soon!

Stampinsanity Distressed

I colored up this cutey for Stampinsanity's Distressed Challenge sisc22-im-so-distressed.
I tore, inked and chalked the edges of the papers, added ribbon and pearls, since girls love pearls lol..

Smeared and Smudged blog hop!

Good morning!! Hope you are finding our hop tons of fun! I made this little cutey in a hurry, so it might not be the best, but it was tons of fun.

My lil grumps are "hiding" from you. They don't like to be seen. They like to watch you, but never let them see you looking, lol.

I made an explosion box, added a few flowers and lace.

Enjoy the hop. The ladies @ Smeared And Smudged are a wonderful group of awesomeness. Everyone is so talented. I love being a part of this group!

Burtonesque dolls challenge- Victorian Beauties

I finished this little cutey for the burtonesque dolls challenge-14
I dolled up my lil image and added some vintage lace and a golden fan charm.

Macabre Monday Challenge

I created this little card for haunted design house hdh050-foul-flutterings challenge. I stickled the bat and distressed the cardstock behind it. Im not sure what it could be for, but it is kinda cute, kinda creepy.
